Today I thought why not try some nail art instead of just applying my regular polish. So here is a simple nail art design that I'd like to share. Its easy and simple to do.
Step 1:
I chose a light pink color as a base. You could choose any color here but make sure the other color used for stripes is a complete contrast. I wore two coats of Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails Shade#115 Tickled Pink.
Step 2:
Using the Bourjois Nail Art Kit, I used the rectangular strips to help me make the stripes. I first placed a strip near the tip of the nail.(The nail art kit also contains stickers and a thin silver tape) Then keeping a 3mm gap I placed another strip after keeping another 2mm gap. Then using the Sally Hansen Commander in Chic Shade of Complete Salon Manicure I Painted the small 2mm gap between the strip and the tip.
Step 3:
After it drying completely, I removed the strip so that i could replicate it on the other fingers. I used the Bourjois Instant Dry so that my nail enamel could dry quickly. I must say that this product is absolutely amazing and my nail enamel dried within 30 seconds.
Step 4:
Finally I completed the nail art design by applying a top coat of Sally Hansen called Diamond Shine. This is to make your nail art last longer without chipping and also for the shine.
